Connect Webflow in one click
Connect the Flowdrive app in the Webflow Designer with one button, and see right away if a site needs attention.
- Added A single Connect Webflow button in the Designer panel: sign in, pick your workspace, approve Webflow, and the panel signs itself in.
- Added Installing from the Webflow Marketplace while signed out now lets you sign in or sign up, then choose the workspace to connect.
- Added The panel tells you when a site is not connected or needs a new approval, with a button to fix it without leaving the Designer.
- Added A new Flowdrive for Webflow guide covering install, uploads, permissions and uninstalling.
- Improved When the panel cannot sign you in, it explains why and what to do, instead of returning you to the welcome screen.

Uploads only from your sites
Your upload key only accepts uploads from sites you have listed, and the widget stays out of sensitive form fields.
- Improved Your upload key only accepts uploads from sites on its allowed list. Add your own address, like mysite.webflow.io; a bare webflow.io entry no longer counts.
- Improved Turning on uploads with the Flowdrive Webflow app adds your site’s domains to the list for you.
- Improved The widget never writes upload links into password, payment, captcha or sign-in fields, and stays off checkout forms.
- Improved The install script now loads a fixed widget version with an integrity check.
- Fixed Small uploads now respect your plan’s file size, storage and file count limits, with a clear message when you reach one.

Security improvements
Stronger sign-in codes and tighter access checks across Flowdrive.
- Fixed Email sign-in codes are generated more securely and allow a limited number of attempts.
- Fixed Tighter checks so people can only see or change files and settings in workspaces they belong to.
- Fixed Bulk actions in the dashboard are strictly limited to your own workspace.
- Fixed Signing in with Google from the Webflow Designer only hands your login to the Flowdrive panel.
Team, profile and email updates
Profile pictures, workspace logos, email changes and inviting several teammates at once.
- Added Upload a profile picture and a workspace logo.
- Added Change your account email. We confirm it with a code sent to the new address.
- Added Invite several teammates at once by pasting a list of emails.
- Added Referral partners in countries Stripe does not support can be paid by Wise, a USD account or SWIFT.
- Improved Sign-up, sign-in, invites and email changes check that an address can receive mail, and ask you to check for a typo if it cannot.
How-to videos and a smoother sign-up
Short videos show how each part of Flowdrive works, and getting started takes four steps.

- Added A show/hide button on password fields.
- Improved Redesigned sign-in and sign-up pages, and a shorter four-step onboarding that ends with your first live file link.
- Fixed “Forgot password” now emails you a reset link.
Trash you can rely on
Deleted files go to a 30-day Trash everywhere, stop loading at once, and come back cleanly.
- Improved A redesigned Trash showing the last 30 days, with Restore and Delete forever. A deleted folder restores as one item.
- Improved Files deleted through the API also go to Trash now, instead of being deleted permanently.
- Improved Restoring more files than your plan allows tells you how many fit, instead of restoring some of them.
- Fixed A file in Trash stops loading on your site straight away, and a restored file comes back within a minute.
- Fixed Files in Trash no longer count toward your plan’s file limit.
- Fixed Deleting, restoring or securing folders with many files no longer fails.
Pro free trial
Try Pro free for 14 days when you need it, then decide.
- Added When a Free workspace needs a card, for example to upload videos or documents, the owner can start a 14-day Pro trial instead of paying straight away.
- Added Billing shows your trial status and end date, with Cancel trial and Start Pro now. We email you when the trial starts and before it ends.
- Improved Videos or documents held back for a card now open a single “add a card” window instead of one message per file.
- Fixed Payment-failed emails now always reach the workspace owner.
Send old links to your custom domain
Old Flowdrive links open on your own domain, without editing your site.
- Added Turn on “Send old links here” for one of your custom domains. Links that still use your Flowdrive address open the same file on your domain, with settings like download and thumbnails carried over.
- Added Turn it off and links go back to the Flowdrive address straight away. If your plan no longer includes custom domains, old links keep working.
File tags
Tag your files and filter the file list by tag.
- Added Add tags to a file from its details, or to many files at once from the selection bar.
- Added Tags show in the file list, and you can filter the list by tag.
Upload widget for React, Vue and Svelte
The upload widget now works inside modern JavaScript apps, pop-ups and multi-step forms.
- Added Widgets that appear after the page loads, in a new route, a modal or a later form step, now set themselves up.
- Added React, Vue and Svelte forms pick up the uploaded file link.
- Added Events your code can listen for when an upload succeeds, a file is removed or an upload fails.
- Added New upload widget docs, with framework setup, events, custom designs and troubleshooting.
Redesigned files and PDF previews
A cleaner Files page with PDF previews, a better embed dialog and a smoother code editor.
- Added PDF thumbnails and previews.
- Added The embed dialog shows a live player preview, plus direct video links if you use your own player.
- Added In the code editor, copy a file’s link on any of your custom domains. Flowdrive remembers your choice.
- Improved Redesigned file details, preview, move, delete and download progress.

Manage your plan in the app
Change, cancel or resume your plan from Billing, and upgrade straight from an upload that hits a limit.
- Added Switch plan or billing cycle from Billing, with a price preview first. Upgrades apply straight away; downgrades at renewal.
- Added See your account credit in Billing.
- Added “Keep plan” undoes a scheduled cancellation or downgrade.
- Added When an upload hits a plan limit, Flowdrive shows the plan that would accept it, with a one-click upgrade.
- Improved On the Free plan, custom domains show as paused, with an option to upgrade.
- Fixed If you cancel and later subscribe again, your custom domain comes back automatically, with no DNS changes needed.
Redesigned file requests
A cleaner page for clients sending you files, and clearer messages when a link no longer works.
- Improved A new look for the page your clients use to send you files.
- Improved Clear screens when a request link is turned off, has expired or does not exist.

Import from Dropbox and Google Drive
Bring files in from Dropbox and Google Drive, alongside Webflow.
- Added The Import page can now pull files from Dropbox and Google Drive.
- Improved Import is now a step-by-step flow, and files you have already imported are greyed out.
- Improved Import has moved from Settings to the sidebar.
Upload widget setup page
Set up the upload widget step by step and check that it works on your live site.
- Added A step-by-step Upload Widget page with a “Check my page” button that confirms the widget is installed correctly on your live site.
- Added The page notices your first upload, so you know it is working.
- Improved Your upload key now lives on the Upload Widget page. The separate API Keys page has been removed.
Usage, video quality and report fixes
More accurate usage on annual plans, correct video quality, and usage emails you can trust.
- Added Your monthly report now compares each total with the previous month.
- Fixed On annual plans, usage is measured against the current month instead of the whole year against one month’s allowance.
- Fixed Video quality is now based on the shorter side, so a 1080p upload is no longer treated as 1440p and vertical phone videos get the right quality.
- Fixed Usage alerts say “approaching” until you actually pass your limit, and no longer suggest upgrading to the plan you are already on.
- Fixed The monthly report email now sends reliably, and its country breakdown shows real countries.
A new Flowdrive dashboard
A new Home page, a tidier sidebar and redesigned analytics.
- Added A Home page that shows your setup at a glance (custom domain, upload widget, secured files), what is live, and what to do next.
- Added A What’s new card in the sidebar, so you can see what changed without leaving the app.
- Improved A reorganised sidebar: Home, Files (with Requests and Trash), Analytics, then your setup pages. Domains is now called Custom Domains.

Better Webflow connection management
Reconnect, switch workspace or disconnect Webflow cleanly from the Integrations page.
- Added A Reconnect button on the Webflow connection page, with a clear message if reconnecting fails.
- Added If you belong to more than one workspace, you choose which one to connect to Webflow.
- Improved Disconnecting Webflow removes the Flowdrive script from every site it manages, and lists any site it could not clean up.
- Improved The connection page shows which workspace and Webflow account are connected.
- Fixed Sites stuck on an older version of the upload widget after a failed update are now retried automatically.
Safer protected media
Members-only images, videos and PDFs only load from Flowdrive or your own domains.
- Improved Protected media only loads from Flowdrive addresses or custom domains you have added. Anything pointing elsewhere shows a placeholder instead.
- Improved If media is served from a domain you have not added yet, the browser console tells you which one, so you know what to add under Custom Domains.
- Fixed If the access check is briefly unavailable, protected media now shows a placeholder instead of loading unprotected.
- Fixed Cancelling an upload in the widget no longer shows it as failed.
- Fixed A page with the upload widget installed twice no longer loads it twice.
Enterprise plan and compliance
A new Enterprise plan for teams that need a signed DPA, security reviews and EU data residency in writing.
- Added An Enterprise plan with a signed DPA (ours or yours), completed security questionnaires, EU data residency committed in writing, a named contact and invoicing by purchase order.
- Added A compliance page that sets out where your data is stored, how we handle breaches, who our subprocessors are and how we protect your files.
- Improved Our DPA now lists every subprocessor, including the one used for video transcoding, and makes clear which are only involved when you use an optional feature.
HTML file and streaming fixes
HTML files open as web pages again, and adaptive streaming no longer gets stuck.
- Fixed HTML files uploaded without the right file type now open as web pages instead of downloading. Files already affected were repaired too.
- Fixed Turning on adaptive streaming for a video that had already finished processing no longer leaves a spinner stuck forever.
Search engine indexing for custom domains
Choose whether search engines can index the files on your custom domain.
- Added A per-domain setting to allow search engine indexing, so a price list or brochure can be found in Google directly instead of only through your site. Off by default.
- Added Secured files stay out of search results even when indexing is on, and files on your flowdrivecdn.com subdomain stay hidden from crawlers.
Custom file links
Give a file the URL you want, on your own domain.
- Added Set a custom slug for any file, so its link reads the way you want instead of a generated ID.
- Improved File links default to your custom domain when you have one connected.
Faster video seeking
Jump to any point in a video without waiting on the whole file.
- Improved Scrubbing a video serves just the part of the file you asked for, instead of re-downloading it.
Webflow-managed upload widget
Install the upload widget from Flowdrive and let it stay up to date on its own.
- Added Install the upload widget straight into Webflow, or paste the script manually if you prefer.
- Added An allowed-domains list, so uploads only work from sites you approve.
- Added Cancel an upload while it is running — partial uploads get cleaned up for you.
- Improved Webflow-managed installs pick up widget updates automatically.
